Here is how an event moves from an announced purse to a final, source-linked PayoutCaddie record.

Three status labels

We never present estimates as final.

Scheduled

Event dates, venue, and total purse are sourced; player amounts are not yet shown.

Projected

Amounts are computed from the current finish and clearly marked as estimates.

Final

Finish positions and payouts are cross-checked after the event is complete.

Verification workflow

We prefer official event and tour sources, then use reputable reporting to cross-check complete payout tables.

Event facts
Confirm purse, venue, and dates.
We start with the tour, event organizer, or official media materials.

Leaderboard
Lock the final finish and tie groups.
Every player is assigned a numeric place plus the displayed tied-position label.

Money cross-check
Validate the payout math.
We compare published amounts against the stated purse and applicable tie splits.

Publication
Attach status, sources, and time.
The visible audit trail lets readers evaluate the record themselves.

Corrections

Send the event, player, amount, and a source link. Material corrections are rechecked and reflected in the page timestamp.
