How are golf tournament ties paid?+
The prize percentages for every finishing position occupied by the tie are added together, and the combined amount is divided evenly among the tied players.
Does a tied player receive the listed amount for that position?+
Usually no. A four-way tie for third occupies third, fourth, fifth, and sixth. Those four prizes are pooled before the split.
Does the calculator include FedExCup points?+
No. It calculates prize money only. Points and non-cash benefits can follow different tie rules.
